The controversial PROTECT IP Act unanimously passed the Senate Judiciary Committee two weeks ago.
When the PROTECT IP Act becomes law U.S. authorities and copyright holders will have the power to seize domains, block websites and censor search engines to prevent copyright infringements.
The bill now moves forward to the Senate, but getting a vote on it will not be easy. Senator Wyden has placed a hold on the Senate version of the bill, but he can use some assistance.
And YOU can help…
The EFF has a handy form people can use to tell their Senators and Representatives that they should oppose the bill.
Speak out before it’s too late.
